Working from home? Boss may still be peeking over your shoulder
Tue Jun 18, 2013
I answered what the question did ask. It was would I LIKE to work from home and I said yes. I don't have the equipment to be able to telecommute but some companies actually give their employees a lap top. I answered yes to the question because I thought working at home would allevi …
NSA leaker Edward Snowden: I'm not a spy for China
Mon Jun 17, 2013
He's sure not living in a palace but he may be right about dying for his beliefs. If Snowden is tracked down by a drone, they kill on site.
Supreme Court strikes down Arizona law requiring proof of citizenship to vote
Mon Jun 17, 2013
I guess it's probably that they never thought of it that you have to be a citizen to vote. So, I guess it's not against the law if it is not so specified. The high court is looking at there is no law against it. So, they vote like it's an edict from God.
On the run and out of a job: Consulting company fires professed NSA leaker
Tue Jun 11, 2013
I believe that Snowden definitely acted solely on his beliefs. The spying on Americans personal emails and telephone calls did need to be brought to our attention and what Snowden did was probably the only way we would have ever found out. However, I'll say this.
Lawmakers: Americans don't know how carefully the government is watching
Sun Jun 9, 2013
I am hoping that if someone is in court let's say for a child custody dispute, that lawyers cannot get their hands on these government records of peoples conversations they may have had with their other family members.

Blood test may detect colon cancer, early research suggests
Fri Jun 7, 2013
There is no test that can replace a colonoscopy. A blood test may only detect the cancer but it is better if a pre-cancerous polyp is discovered before it turns into cancer which means that it will not be detected by a blood test.
Health care law's unpopularity reaches new highs
Thu Jun 6, 2013
It appears that in preparation for the health care law to take effect in 2014, the company I work for has changed our health insurance. We have HMOs that USED to ONLY charge low co-pays of $15 or $25. Now we have to get past a $400 deductible before the benefits start.
Poll finds overwhelming support for drone strikes
Wed Jun 5, 2013
As in any war, civilians will be killed. However, with drones they kill far fewer civilians. I find it hard to be sympathetic to countries that harbor terrorists. This is where the drones have been directed to sift out terrorists and strike.
1 in 5 struggle to pay medical bills, but it's getting better
Mon Jun 3, 2013
The new trend now to obtain affordable health insurance is too lower the premiums by raising the deductibles. Also, the lower premiums make it so the insurance covers less in procedures done. This is intimidating.

Yes.
Dear Johnjwins: Would you like to be in a wheel chair? One thing that happens to people who've had their limbs immobilized for a while is that their limbs become atrophied.
I sing in a church choir and walk with a cane. The choir director started making an issue about my cane. They are afraid someone is going to trip over my cane.
